One of our students has picked up a prestigious award for public  speaking. Bo Chang won a local government award in competition against  over a thousand other competitors.  Bo has studied with us in the  UK on three occasions and for a total of eight weeks. He  described his experience with LiveInLanguages as invaluable and hopes to return to study with James again in the near future. Bo is just one of many students who have made exceptional improvements in their English ability through our courses.

24/01/08      Courses in Hawaii

In addition to Seattle and San Francisco in the USA, I am pleased to advise that we are now offering Hawaii where courses are offered on the island of Oahu. This is the most populous island and the majority of host-teachers are located among the pleasant residential neighborhoods of Honolulu county. Our one-to-one home tuition programmes in Hawaii follow the same format as Seattle and San Francisco, with teachers providing full board accommodation for clients in addition to private English language instruction. As in mainland USA, we offer 15, 20 and 25 lessons per week in General and Business English, as well as English for Exams. I am sure clients will be interested in this, especially in Europe and mainland USA's winter months.

Congratulations to Tomoko Kimura on winning an award for the 'Best Speech in English' at her school in Fukuoka, Kyushu, Japan. Tomoko has studied with Live in Languages in both the UK and USA and promises to return to us next year, prior to starting University.Well done Tomoko!

We are delighted to announce that we are now offering one-to-one home tuition in San Francisco, in addition to Seattle in the USA. This cosmopolitan city is one of the most visited and popular cities in the world. The combination of a mild year-round climate, fantastic sightseeing, shops and restaurants, and some of the most beautiful scenery in the USA, ensures a steady flow of international visitors every year. English language students are sure to find the San Francisco Bay Area a relaxed, safe and welcoming environment in which to live and study.

1/8/07      We are pleased to announce the following new locations:

We are delighted to announce that we are now offering one-to-one home tuition in the YORKSHIRE DALES in addition to our other locations in the UK. This is the countryside of James Herriot's "All Creatures Great and Small" and the Bronte sisters' literature, including "Wuthering Heights". Coach services from Heathrow airport are frequent and Leeds/Bradford airport is easily accessible. We appreciate that London may not be so attractive to clients at this time, so they should be aware that we can offer them the peace and quiet of rural Britain in the Yorkshire Dales, the Shropshire Hills on the England/Wales border and, of course, the COTSWOLDS. Those registering for these locations are sure to have an authentic and traditional experience.
